Print Spooler Reset
The batch file (courtesy of Major Geeks website) to quickly reset and clear the print spooler of jobs hung in the print queue can be downloaded here. Simply download the zip file onto your computer and then extract the entire folder named “clear-spooler.zip”. Once you have extracted the entire folder, open the folder called “Reset and Clear Print Spooler” and double-click the 2nd file named “Reset and Clear Print Spooler” and then run the file and let process complete. Then verify that the print queue is cleared. NOTE: If the print spooler did not fully clear all jobs on the first run, reboot your computer and try again.
